Status on Ethan:
Word from Kim is that Ethan did VERY good last night. When he arrived in the PICU, he was telling the nurses that he had forgotten to take his
Flinstone's vitamin yesterday morning, a topic that apparently he and Kim were discussing right BEFORE the surgery, so his thought processes have not skipped a beat !!He will be going to a second MRI around 1pm today so the Neurosurgeons can assess whether there is any remaining fragments of tumor that they missed. The results of the MRI, when combined with the full pathology report will help determine "Step 2" in his treatment. Also, he may be released from PICU as early as today to a regular room. When this happens I will send everyone the room information.

bution List:Several of you have asked how to use the distribution list: To send any information out to everyone, address your e-mail to: ethan_update@coollist.com and it will be sent to everyone on the list. I know at least one family has mentioned to me that they may want to start a schedule of people taking meals to Kim & Bert for a while, this would be one application of using the list to reach all interested in helping. I noticed that somehow several "out of office " messages were being distributed, I went in and tweaked some settings this morning to stop that from happening, but generally if you Reply to ethan_update@coollist.com it will go to EVERYONE.
What can you do to Help:
Everyone wants to know what they can do to help. Kim has an idea, but I want to discuss it with her more first before I send you all the information. Hopefully within the next 24-48 hours I'll be able to send you all detailed information on what you, your families, and your Companies can do to help Ethan and others like him with Pediatric Brain Tumors.
