Ethan took a turn south this evening and was admitted to Fairfax INOVA hospital. While not neutropenic, he suffered a sudden onslaught of symptoms that required urgent medical attention.
Sadly, we had planned to fly to Duke University on Thursday night to make a film for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, but am not sure what the likelihood of that now is. I suppose its all just part of the gamble of making plans while on treatment.
Please keep Ethan in your prayers until we get over this bump.
