We’re delighted to report that we had a very nice holiday – free of any medical complications. That drum set did fit in to Santa’s sleigh after all, and we now we have two skilled drummers (err… maybe ‘bangers’ is more descriptive) in the family. Ethan has a large repertoire while Kyra only has one: “E-I-E-I-OOOOOO”.
Ethan had his hearing checked again on Monday and there fortunately was still no change. He’s being admitted early tomorrow morning (January 2nd) for both a spinal MRI (to re-check for any metastasis) and to begin his 6th cycle of chemotherapy. We expect to be in until at least Sunday.
Here’s our family picture from the holidays – sorry to bore those of you who already received it with our holiday cards. Ethan’s hair has since “left”, but he’s fine with it.
